Ecosystem Importance of Beavers

« back to classes page
Beavers are a keystone species. They create a cascade of positive ecological benefits in the environments they occupy including creating habitat for birds, fish, amphibians, and mammals. Beavers also make landscapes more resilient to the negative effects of drought and wildfires. Learn how we can co-exist with beavers and combat the effects of climate change in the Roaring Fork Watershed. This is a FREE lecture.
