About the Instructors:
Allison Knapp is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor who teaches Psychology and Counseling in the Human Services degree program at CMC. She believes that talking with others about the things that worry us can help to reduce and resolve those worries. Existential angst is a universal worry for humans- talking about it helps.
Laura Minch, Professor of Psychology, teaches the Psychology of Death, Dying and Grieving course as part of the Human Services program at CMC. She’s often asked, “Don’t you get depressed talking about death for months on end?” She explains that discussing and reflecting on death allows her and her students to live richer, more fulfilling lives by examining their own mortality.
