This course prepares adult students for the U.S. citizenship and naturalization exam and interview. Instruction covers key areas of U.S. history, government, civics, geography, and the structure of federal, state, and local governments. Students will also explore opportunities for community and civic participation, discuss current events, and learn test-taking strategies along with essential English writing and speaking skills. The course includes interview preparation to help build confidence and familiarity with the naturalization process. All are welcome.
This class is taught in English and Spanish, but all languages are accommodated.
Class is offered in partnership with the Glenwood Springs Public Library and will be held at the library (815 Cooper Avenue) and will meet on the following dates - 2/7,2/21,3/7,3/21,4/4,4/18.
Este curso prepara a los estudiantes adultos para el examen y la entrevista de ciudadanía y naturalización de los Estados Unidos.
