Arctic Pulse: The Global Heartbeat

« back to classes page
Discover the Arctic as a critical gear within our global climate stability. Sarah Johnson, climate action and solutions educator and Delegate Observer at UNFCCC COP26, moves beyond a crisis-focused lens to highlight the resiliency of Indigenous knowledge systems and the advanced technologies now monitoring this vital planetary regulator. We will also address a few practical hurdles currently facing Arctic research. Through diverse lenses - geography, ice dynamics, ecosystems, local culture, and the latest 2025 NOAA Arctic Report Card - we will analyze the region's current trajectory. Build your holistic and relational understanding of the Arctic while gaining tools to continue exploring and advocating for this critical, interconnected mosaic.
