Are you or your child interested in hunting this upcoming season? This class will teach you how to be safe, legal, and responsible. Topics covered include wildlife management, wildlife identification, ethics, laws and regulations, and firearms safety and handling. This class is required for anyone born after Jan. 1, 1949, in order to buy a Colorado Hunting License. Anyone with a felony conviction or who is delinquent in child support is not allowed to take this course. DO NOT bring firearms to class. Students 12 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult. These classes are held at CMC Glenwood Springs Campus and the skills portion will be held at the Basalt shooting range.
