Spark your child's creativity in this fun, hands-on class that combines art and cooking! Students will spend half of each class creating artwork with experienced art educator Thelma Zabel and the other half cooking with local nutritionist Shannon Bison. In the art studio, children will explore drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and other creative projects inspired by children's books and famous artists. In the kitchen, they'll build confidence while learning essential cooking skills, exploring new ingredients, and preparing delicious recipes with a different theme each week. This unique class encourages creativity, confidence, and hands on learning in two exciting ways.
Please bring an old shirt or smock, as art projects can get messy!
