These courses are designed for EMS professionals in Chaffee and surrounding counties that need to complete ongoing continuing education to maintain their certification. "The EMT National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requires a total of forty (40) credits of continuing education to recertify." Classes will follow the Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMTs) guidelines.
Each course is 2 hours in length and will count as two (2) instructional hours of continuing education. Upon the completion of each course students can be provided with documentation from CMC.
