Fruit Trees & Shrubs - Tools & Grafting

Slideshow and lecture will introduce the science behind fruit tree grafting, common fruit tree rootstocks, and types of grafting methods. Hands-on demonstrations in the classroom will cover how to sharpen various types of garden tools using various types of sharpening equipment. Students must be 18 years or older. Vanessa Harmony is an arborist and Master Gardener.  She owns a plant nursery and consulting business specializing in hardy, edible perennial plants for Colorado. It is highly recommended that students take all three of the classes in this series for best outcomes.
