Fruit Tree Grafting

Hands-on demonstration and practice using scionwood collected in the class on 4/4, and stored under refrigeration. Learn grafting methods and then have the opportunity to graft your own trees with personal instruction. Includes a demonstration of grafting in the field on trees in the Carbondale Campus landscape. Students must be 18 years or older. Vanessa Harmony is an arborist and Master Gardener.  She owns a plant nursery and consulting business specializing in hardy, edible perennial plants for Colorado. It is highly recommended that students take all 3 of the classes in this series for best outcomes.
